How To Calculate FUTO Aggregate Score

Your FUTO aggregate score is a combination of

  • Your UTME (JAMB) and
  • Your Post-UTME results.

Note: This is the score FUTO uses to determine if you qualify for your chosen course. The higher it is, the better your chances of gaining admission.

Steps On How To Calculate FUTO Aggregate Score?

  • Divide your JAMB by 8
  • Divide your post-UTME by 2
  • Add both scores together after division
  • The total is your FUTO aggregate score

FUTO uses this simple formula:

Aggregate Score = (UTME Score ÷ 8) + (Post-UTME Score ÷ 2)

Note: Both JAMB and Post-UTME are given equal weight

For Example:

Let’s say:

  • You scored 256 in your UTME
  • You scored 64 in your Post-UTME

Here’s how to calculate your aggregate:

  • UTME part = 256 ÷ 8 = 32
  • Post-UTME part = 64 ÷ 2 = 32
  • Final Aggregate Score = 32 + 32 = 64
  • So your FUTO aggregate score is 64%.
