Key Responsibilities
- Operate minibuses, pickup vans, and other light vehicles for the transportation of clients, personnel, and company goods.
- Adhere to designated schedules and assigned routes while ensuring timely arrivals.
- Assist passengers in entering and exiting vehicles when necessary.
- Secure passengers’ wheelchairs and personal belongings for a safe journey.
- Maintain communication with the base station using two-way radios or other designated devices.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of trips, vehicle status, and passenger behavior.
- Perform additional administrative tasks when not driving.
Requirements & Qualifications
Academic qualifications
Minimum of SSCE/GCE qualification.
License
A valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
Strong Road Navigation
Strong knowledge of Nigeria’s road networks.
Experience
At least 5 years of driving experience in a similar industry (preferred).
Personal Specification
- Proven experience operating minibuses, pickup vans, or light goods vehicles.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- -Well-groomed, professional, and organized.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
