JAMB Subject Combination & Admission Requirements for Mass Communication
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
To study Mass Communication, you must select the correct JAMB subjects.
✅ English Language is compulsory.
✅ The other three (3) subjects should be any Arts or Social Science subjects.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks:
- UNIJOS requires Literature in English.
- UNN requires Literature in English and any two (2) subjects, one must be from Arts or Social Sciences.
O’Level (SSCE) Requirements
To qualify, you need five (5) O’Level credit passes, including:

Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks:
- AJAYI requires English Language, Literature in English, and three (3) other subjects from Arts or Social Sciences.
- Covenant University (CU) requires English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, one Science subject (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, or Health Science), and one subject from Arts or Social Sciences.
- UNIJOS & UNN require Literature in English.
- UNN also requires a science subject and at least a pass in Mathematics.
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements
