UNIBEN – one of the top leading federal universities in Nigeria, which is located in Benin city, Edo state. The institution was established in 1970 and it was started as an institute of technology before being upgraded to a full university status in 1971. Generally, the price of school fees in UniBEN ranges from N150,000 to N190,000. Newly admitted students into science related fields of study are charged around N190,000, non-science related courses are to pay around N170,000. While returning students in science related fields pay within the range of N170,000 and non-science students are to pay around N150,000. It is important to note that school fees can be subjected to changes as time passes.

Newly admitted students into UniBen in the Faculty of Law are charged a total of 170,000 spread across a variety of sub categories which includes examination fees, laboratory fees, ICT, library, sports, counselling, utility, TSHIP (Tertiary Institutions Social Health Insurance Program), accreditation, sanitation, orientation brochure, student union dues, bank charges, development levy, certificate screening, academic gown and I.D card.

Acceptance fee

Approved acceptance fee for Law program in UniBen is N60,000. Freshers that have been offered admission are obligated to make this important payment, which is made mandatory by the institution before any other payments in order to fully secure admission.

Returning Students

School fees for returning students for Law students is sum total of N150,000 spread across a variety of sub categories which includes examination fees, laboratory fees, sport, library, ICT, utility, counselling, accreditation, sanitation, TSHIP (Tertiary Institutions Social Health Insurance Program), portal charges, development levy, student union dues.

UNIBEN Payment Installment Plan

Generally students are required to make full payment before completion of course registration, however there may be a provided avenue for installment payment for returning students that are benefiting from tuition sponsorship or bursary benefits where fees are disbursed in phases or installments. The exact specifications on how the disbursement is made will be made known by the bursary department upon enquiry and application.

POST GRADUATE DEGREE CHARGES FOR LAW STUDENTS

Application form for post graduate degree at UniBen is slated for around N22,000, furthermore newly admitted post graduate students pay a fee of N132,000 while returning students pay around N82,000 as school fees charges.
