How to Calculate UNIPORT Aggregate Score?

To calculate your UNIPORT aggregate score, you need two key pieces of information: your JAMB score and your Post-UTME score.

Once you have them, follow this simple calculation method:

  • JAMB UTME is scored over 400 marks
  • UNIPORT Post-UTME is scored over 400 marks

Steps to Calculate UNIPORT Aggregate Score:

  1. Add your JAMB and Post UTME Score Together
  2. Divide the score you’ve by 2
  3. The final result is your aggregate score.

The total is your UNIPORT aggregate score.

Example Calculation:

Let’s say Francis scored:

  • 250 in JAMB
  • 280 in Post-UTME

Step 1: JAMB + Post UTME Score: 250+280 = 530
Step 2: Divide added score by 2: 530/2 = 265
Step 3: 265 is your aggregate score

So, FRANCIS UNIPORT aggregate score is 265.

What is the Post-UTME Aggregate Score for UNIPORT?

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) uses a weighted formula to calculate the aggregate score for admission. This formula gives:

  • 50% weight to JAMB UTME
  • 50% weight to Post-UTME

To calculate, use this simple method:

  1. Add your JAMB and Post UTME Score Together
  2. Divide both score by 2
  3. The final result is your aggregate score

Example:
If a candidate scores 240 in JAMB and 240 in Post-UTME:

  • JAMB + Post UTME Score: 240 + 240 = 480
  • Add Both: 480÷ 2
  • Aggregate Score = 240

So, the candidate’s UNIPORT aggregate score is 240.
