In this article, I’ll walk you through how to calculate YABATECH aggregate score in the simplest way possible using your JAMB and O’Level results.

How to Calculate YABATECH Aggregate Score

Your aggregate score is what YABATECH uses to decide whether you’re qualified for admission into your chosen course. YABATECH combines your:

• UTME (JAMB) score

• and your O’level results to get your aggregate score.

Note: There is no post-UTME exam for now, so your JAMB and WAEC/NECO results are doing all the work.

Steps On How To Calculate Yabatech Aggregate Score

• STEP 1: Divide Your JAMB Score by 8

• STEP 2: Calculate Your O’level Grade Points

• STEP 3: Add JAMB and O’level Together

• The total is your aggregate score

For Example

Let’s say you score:

• 240 in JAMB: 240 ÷ 8 = 30

• Let’s say your grades look like this:
  • English – B3 = 4 points
  • Mathematics – B2 = 5 points
  • Physics – A1 = 6 points
  • Chemistry – C4 = 3 points
  • Biology – B3 = 4 points

• Add them up:
  4 + 5 + 6 + 3 + 4 = 22

• Then add the JAMB score and O’Level points together
  • JAMB part = 30
  • O’level part = 22

• Final aggregate score = 30 + 22 = 52
