Job Opening: Financial Planning & Accounts Lead
They are currently hiring a Financial Planning & Accounts Lead to take ownership of their finance function and help shape the future of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
• Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets across all departments.
• Conduct cash flow forecasts, test financial assumptions, and support leadership with actionable insights.
• Integrate loan repayments and debt servicing into monthly planning.
Management Accounts & Reporting
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow).
• Support investor reports, grant compliance, and due diligence processes.
• Identify financial risks before they become major problems.
Accounting Systems & Controls
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting records.
• Refine financial workflows: receivables, payables, inventory, and approvals.
• Mentor junior finance and admin staff for consistent, high-quality reporting.
Strategic Finance & Business Support
• Advise leadership on pricing strategy, product margins, and unit economics.
• Create financial models for growth planning—e.g., new product lines or retail expansion.
• Translate financial data into clear recommendations to drive decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Professional Background
•2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN, ACCA, or CPA qualified (or in the final stages).
• Solid experience in management accounting, budgeting, and working closely with executive teams.
Software & Technical Skills
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experienced with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books.

Bonus Points If You Have:
• Experience supporting fundraising, investor relations, or grant reporting
• Worked in FMCG, agri-processing, or manufacturing
• Familiarity with cost accounting and product-based pricing
• Exposure to impact finance or donor-funded projects
Salary & Benefits
• Monthly Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000 ( Slightly negotiable )
